Personal History		Brett was born to Daniel and Elizabeth Garner on June 20th 2357 in Clinton, MD. Brett grew up with his two brothers Cody Garner, who is currently Chief Engineer on Xavier Fleet Yards, and Justin Garner, who serves on the USS Cornell as the Chief Engineering Officer. Bretts father, Daniel served on the USS Excaliber as an Engineering Officer. So Brett and his brothers never had any trouble learning how to build and fix things. Brett was quite and engineer as a child always building model Starships and would have dozens of them hanging from the ceiling in his room. As soon as Brett graduated from High School, he applied to Starfleet Academy. He excelled in Combat and Reconnaissance and was assigned to the Starfleet Marine Corps. He graduated and was assigned to the USS Lapon as a Platoon Leader. After a few years he worked his way up to the Executive Officer and then requested a transfer to the Intelligence Dept where he thought he could do more for Starfleet. Brett finally got his wish by becoming a Captain of a starship, in 2385 he became the Commanding Officer of the USS Europa, a Luna Class vessel assigned to the Beta Quadrant for scientific research and black op missions to keep the region safe.
