Cody was born to Daniel and Elizabeth Garner on July 11th 2364 in Washington, DC. Cody grew up with his two older brothers Brett Garner, who currently Captains the USS Europa, and Justin Garner, who serves on the USS Cornell as the Chief Engineering Officer.
Codys father, Daniel served on the USS Excaliber as an Engineering Officer. So Cody and his brothers never had any trouble learning how to build and fix things. Cody was quite and engineer as a child always building model Starships and would have dozens of them hanging from the ceiling in his room.
As soon as Cody graduated from High School, he applied to Starfleet Academy. He majored in Engineering, and excelled so fast that he graduated a year early and was immediately promoted to Lieutenant and picked up by Major General William Ross and made the Chief Engineer of Xavier Fleet Yards. |
